COVID-19 Updates and Booking Policy

Your safety is our utmost priority. In line with the threat of the spread of COVID-19, please be advised that we are strictly implementing a screening process prior to your arrival date. Please answer the following questions in the health declaration form at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Failure to answer this form may result in a cancellation of your booking or a delay in your check in. Kindly complete this health declaration form honestly. Giving false information is punishable in accordance with Philippine laws.

In Addition, in compliance with the Baliwag LGU Executive Order, please be reminded that ALL GUESTS AND VISITORS who will enter the premises (Guests with reservations, visitors with inquiries and ocular visit, suppliers of goods and services) are REQUIRED to register at iamsafe Baliwag and have their qr code scanned in all entrances of the resort.

COVID-19 UPDATES AND BOOKING POLICIES: These are challenging times but we remain fully committed to the safety and well-being of all our guests, visitors and employees. We carefully monitor the COVID-19 situation and consistently updating and implementing hygiene and sanitation protocols based on the guidelines of the Department of Health (DOH), and the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to experience a healthy and safe environment. With that in mind, we wanted to share what our guests need to expect when you book a stay at Hacienda Galea Resort. Your safety is of utmost importance:

  • We encourage guests to Book Online through our website or call the resort directly. Upon confirmation of booking, an electronic Health Declaration and Guest Registration Form will be emailed. 

  • We highly encourage Cashless and Paperless Transactions wherever possible.

  • A temperature check before entering the resort will be done and guests are required to adhere to safety protocols. Strict implementation of other safety protocols such as social distancing and limited occupancy to prevent transmission of the virus.

  • Increased cleaning frequency of public areas and high traffic areas are implemented. Sanitizers are made available within the resort.

  • Guest rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with extra disinfection. Room attendants are required to wear PPE while on duty and will have minimal contact with guests. At check-out, rooms will be cleaned and sanitized following disinfection protocols.

  • Pre-arranged meals will be served at the room’s terrace or at open air bar with minimal capacity. For beverage requirements, orders may be delivered to the room.

  • Pools will operate in reduced hours and reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing. Special cleaning and disinfection protocols are applied to pools and other recreational areas of the resort.

  • Additionally, we prevent guests from going to the hotel if they have been exposed to or are showing flu-like symptoms of COVID-19.

These processes may result in modification of certain services and amenities that are normally available at the resort. HG CARE is initiated to minimize risk and optimize safety and hygiene protocols and instigate social distancing as we move into the new normal.

We are in full support of the Department of Tourism's initiatives to provide accommodation with limited hotel services to the workforce of basic establishments from allowed industries during the ECQ/MECQ/GCQ:

  • Government Agencies

  • Foreign Embassies and Diplomatic Missions

  • Food and Medicine Supply Chain

  • Manufacturing of Essential Products

  • Delivery Services

  • Financial Institutions

  • Utilities

The following guests are also allowed to stay at our hotel during ECQ/MECQ/GCQ:

  • Guests with long term leases

  • Locally stranded individuals or individuals transiting to their place of residence

  • Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) defined under IATF-EID Omnibus Guidelines pursuant to their official duty.

  • Business Guests or guests whose travel is solely for the purpose of work or business and not for personal recreational or leisure purpose. (in addition to items above during GCQ).

Under MGCQ, Staycation will be allowed. Permitted guests, in addition to items above will include leisure guests. Individual of all ages are permitted except those with comorbidity and pregnant women. 

Flexible Cancellation and Amendment Policy:

  • New Reservation: Our hotel and resort bookable rate plans have flexible cancellation and amendment policies. We will allow full cancellation amendments free of any penalties up to 24 hours prior to arrival for reservation up to April 11, 2021.

  • Third Party Reservations: Guests who booked via online travel agents (such as Agoda, Booking.com or Expedia) or other third-party travel providers are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their respective policies. We will continue to update our website and communication through social media as often as necessary, based on the guidelines set by the Department of Health and Department of Tourism.
